The story
After 17 editions at West Plains, the Show-Me 100 moved to Lucas Oil Speedway for May 28, 2010. The first Wheatland running attracted 73 cars, with Jimmy Owens setting fast time at 16.037 seconds.
Owens led the first 10 laps before Don O’Neal controlled laps 11 through 61. Cook moved ahead for 11 laps, lost the lead to Steve Casebolt for laps 73 through 89, then reclaimed it on lap 90 and stayed in front to the finish.
Cook collected $30,000 for his second Show-Me 100 victory. O’Neal finished second, followed by Terry Phillips, Eric Wells and Dennis Erb Jr. The 28-car feature distributed $85,950 in listed payouts.
